Tennis star Andy Roddick is now engaged to SI swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker. According to People magazine they met after Mr. Roddick asked "people" (not the magazine) to find B-Deck's number. He called her up and asked her out.

As for the rest of the population- we find and call a hot swimsuit model and we get a date with the police. Of course this is 2008 and we just stick to a friend request- "thanks for adding us as your friend" message on MySpace. We feel special but really? Your friend number 49,718.

We say Good Luck to the happy couple. Just please don't name your kids Apple, Moxie CrimeFighter, or Pilot Inspektor (Yes, all real celebrity names), but if they do name their kid something crazy we're pushing for Staten Island CrimeFighter Roddick. It has a ring to it.

Packed bar? Taking forever to get a drink for you and the lovely lady for the evening? Fear no more. Atlanta sports bar STATS now allows for beer taps at your table. Can it get any better than that? Of course the tap shuts off after 180 ounces or what equals three pitchers until a server can check on the table.

It's like having your own personal server, and more time to chat up your date.

This is one of those, "Why wasn't this thought of a lot sooner?"

Next year restaurants will install your very own oven- so you can cook your own food at your own table. OK, maybe not cause that would defeat the whole purpose of going out.

No complaining from us we think this is a great idea.

Irish Whiskey is taking off like a lepracon running for the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. New data out shows even here in the U.S. where the popular shot "made to warm you up" has jumped 20% this year compared to last. This news comes to us on St. Patrick's Day and even though St Patty's Day was Monday the Irish editors here at Amore are still celebrating the clover holiday. Actually the whole staff is still celebrating. Including the intern in the mail-room.

No wonder my mailbox has been empty all week.

I knew I forget about something.

It seems as though Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz is hooking up with Penthouse Pet of the Year Erica Ellyson. We are proud to say it was his father (Skip Buchholz) who confirmed the rumor saying on a WZLX radio show, “I know he’s met her, gone out with her, but I don’t know if you consider that dating . . . but hey, a boy could do worse,”

Worse is right. His father later went on to say that last year his son was hooking up with a Victoria's Secret model.

So let us get this straight according to elder Mr. Buchholz Penthouse is of higher class than Victoria's Secret?

Nice going dad...

Note: When Clay pitched in the minors he was in Portland, Maine. An Amore editor was in conversation with bouncer from sports bar summer 2007 and Clay Buchholz himself about *a bar game in which you pay off your buddy who could leave the bar with the "largest" chick.

*FYI: You didn't have to take her home and sleep with her just leave the bar with her.

While most of us guys (above the age of 18) don't use that body spray stuff. Some critics are taking offense to the ads. We could not confirm if they were nuns, but they were upset that Unilevel the parent company of Axe Body Spray is apparently using sex to sell it's product. What's wrong with that company any who? Aren't those the same people that make that Dove stuff?

If Axe and all those other pre-puberty chemicals that claim they work so well actually don't. Then we say down with those books, DVDs and, "How To" manuals we just bought on line from some guy who "claims to be a pickup artist."
