Hockey's bad boy Sean Avery has been released from his team the Dallas Stars following a six game suspension by the NHL for comments he made before a game in Calgary two weeks ago.
Avery who had dated Elisha Cuthbert called her a "sloppy second" after he gestured the media over to make the statement. Cuthbert is presently romantically linked to the Calgary Flames Dion Phaneuf.
Brett Hull told ESPN,
"We don't want to ruin Sean or his career. We want him to get better. The team needs to move on and start winning and he needs to take care of himself. ... As a hockey player, I think there's no question he can be an asset. That said, he's got to fix the demons he has."
Avery is what hockey needs. Sounds like any Hollywood celeb- Anger issues, rehab, maybe he has a little Britney in him and can make a huge comeback. And as long as he doesn't date her it might just be possible.
