Bing.com, Microsoft’s decision engine, has just released the results of a survey they commissioned regarding the most desirable things for New Year's Eve and the New Year.
Which celebrity would you invite to your New Year’s Eve dinner?
-She became a mom, won an Oscar and was named People’s Most Intriguing Newsmaker of the Year all in 2010. So it should come as no surprise that according to a Bing survey 48 percent of respondents want the beautiful and talented Sandra Bullock to join them for dinner.
-Though Kim Kardashian was the most searched for person on Bing in 2010, she’s not as popular as a dinner guest. According to a Bing survey, only 8 percent of respondents would welcome Kim to their New Year’s Eve dinner.
-It seems women are 2.5 times more likely to want to have dinner with Sandra than Obama. A Bing survey showed that 56 percent of women respondents want to invite Sandra Bullock as a dinner guest and only 22 percent would invite President Barack Obama.
Which celebrity couple would you NOT trust to babysit your kids (or your nieces, nephews or best friend’s kids) on New Year’s Eve?
- According to respondents to Bing’s New Year’s Eve Survey, Americans wouldn’t trust Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick to babysit their kids. 41 percent of respondents to a Bing survey said that they wouldn’t let this celebrity couple babysit their kids on New Year’s Eve. Sarah and Todd Palin came in just behind Kourtney and Scott, with 25 percent of respondents not wanting them to babysit.
Which celebrity would you like to become Facebook or Twitter friends with in 2011?
-Though Justin Bieber ranked number two as most searched musician this year, only five percent of respondents to a Bing survey would like to become Facebook or Twitter friends with him 2011. Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey battle out as most wanted FB and Twitter friends, with 30 percent wanting Ellen and 25 percent wanting Oprah.
-Fans might not be friends: Though Kim Kardashian has 50x more Bing search queries than Ellen DeGeneres, respondents to a recent Bing survey preferred Ellen when deciding which celebrity they would like to be Facebook or Twitter friends with. Ellen had 3x more aspiring friends than Kim.
Which celebrity would you like to kiss at midnight?
-The 2010 sexiest man alive and soon to be single Ryan Reynolds continues to grab hearts in America. 51 percent of women responders to a Bing survey want him to be their midnight kiss. He beat out Matthew Morrison, Chase Crawford and Mike “The Situation Sorrentino.”
What is the most popular New Year’s Eve show?
-When it comes to rockin’ New Year’s Eve, Dick Clark still tops the list of most popular shows, according to Bing search data pulled from last year’s holiday season. In fact, Dick Clarke + Ryan Seacrest is 25 times more popular than Anderson Cooper, while Carson Daly’s New Year’s Eve special didn’t even make the top 10,000 search topics.
-Last year, Dick Clarke’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest generated nearly 10% of all New Year’s Eve-related inquiries, compared with Anderson Cooper’s 360 New Year’s show, which generated 4 queries for every 100 of those for Dick Clark’s show.

My husband thinks we live in a hotel. How else could you explain throwing every single towel in the hamper right after its use?
He leaves cups upside down in the sink, despite the dishwasher sitting inches away. He is akin to leaving an empty box of Coke Zero in the refrigerator. Do you really need to keep a cardboard box chilled? He leaves dry cleaning hangers, free of clothes, sitting in the closet. I admit that I am borderline obsessive about cleaning. I do like to see lines in my carpet from the vacuum cleaner. The site of folded clothes in a dresser is almost as good as drinking a bottle of champagne. But the time I waste following him around with paper towels and cleanser would easily put anyone else in a tailspin. That time could be spent doing more important and exciting things like writing letters to the Michael Buble fan club or finally figuring out how to French braid my hair.
I bring this up because Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly told aides they intend to carry on fending for themselves when they return home as newlyweds. The Daily Telegraph has reported the couple believes that "sharing their home with servants would ruin the intimacy of their relationship, and will carry on looking after themselves until the Prince finishes his tour of duty as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot in three years’ time. A senior royal source said: “It’s very much their instinct to manage on their own.... Prince William is not into extravagance and, like any other young officer in the armed forces, which is how he chooses to live his life. He and Catherine live without domestic staff and they wouldn’t do it any other way. That’s the life they want to lead."
He wants a different life than his father in more ways than one. Apparently Prince Charles employs a staff of 149 of whom 25 are classed as personal staff for himself, the Duchess of Cornwall and Princes William and Harry. They include butlers, chauffeurs, valets and chefs. In fact BBC journalist Jeremy Paxman claimed in a book about the royal family that the Prince had four servants in attendance to help him get dressed every morning, and that one aide squeezed his toothpaste onto his brush for him and another once held a bottle while he produced a urine sample. He is that lazy and entitled.
Isn't there a happy medium? Can't he hire a staff to clean his toilets and get rid of the hair stuck in their shower drain? Does the country really need to see pictures of the Prince and Princess dragging the trash out to the end of the driveway? Doesn't wealth and royal ancestors afford you that privilege? I respect his interest in having some privacy with his soon-to-be wife.
You can't exactly keep things intimate when you have a butler iron your underwear. But you should throw your new wife a bone.

This is now way to start the new year off right, but is seems as though Marc Anthony husband of Jennifer Lopez owes $3.4 Million in unpaid tax bills.

New York authorities filed a demand for $1.8 million in back taxes against Marc Anthony on March 29, 2010 in Nassau County, Long Island. Just three months earlier, a federal tax lien for $1.6 million was placed on the same property owned by the I Need To Know singer.
In 2007, he was ordered to pay $2.5 million in back taxes, after ignoring the tax man for four years.
Anthony claimed it was the fault of his business management company and ultimately paid the fine, however, his financial team plead guilty to a series of tax felonies.
Maybe that issuance she had taken out of her behind years ago is too expensive... just saying.
