He might be one of the highest paid actors for appearing on the big screen, but when it comes to photo shoots you can forget Johnny Depp wanting to appear in them.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, The Rum Diary actor says he has a phobia of photo shoots...
“Well, you just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped ... It feels like a kind of weird -- just weird, man.”
Posing with fans does him no wrong how ever,
“But whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like -- you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.”
As for Depp's latest film The Rum Diary, it came to fruition after he discovered the novel in a box in the basement of Hunter S. Thompson's house while he was saying there researching his role for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in 1998.
“I pulled it out. I was like ‘What is this?’ Hunter was like, “Oh, [bleep], ‘The Rum Diary’ ... Hunter didn’t know it was there.”
A find that might finally be worth a lot of money!

NOTE: About the rape comment in the article had some groups were offended, so Depp released a statement apologizing for the comment saying,
"I am truly sorry for offending anyone in any way. I never meant to. It was a poor choice of words on my part in an effort to explain a feeling. I understand there is no comparison and I am very regretful. In an effort to correct my lack of judgment, please accept my heartfelt apology."
