Pippa Middleton’s brown-suede knee-highs
Rapidly ingraining herself into the best-dressed hall of fame 2011, Pippa Middleton continues to come up trumps with her sartorial choices. He new passion is a pair of brown, suede knee-high boots. They are flat and look incredibly warm and comfy, but look gorgeous with a skirt or dress and accompanying pea coat. These riding boots are spot on trend. When buying your own pair, look for warm colouring à la Pippa, natural materials, i.e. leather or suede, and add interest with buckles and straps.
Mollie King’s fur-lined ankle boots
The winter wonderland, après-ski trend is a very popular one this season. Mollie King from The Saturday’s knows how to work this trend. She opted for a heeled version with buckles and shearling lining. Her boots were just above the ankle. You can copy this trend point for point, or you can go your own way with a flat sole, and a longer, mid-calf length boot. However, remember to keep the fur or shearling and don’t loose detailing either. If you forgo straps, you definitely need hook-up laces.
Fearne Cotton’s Chelsea Boots
Fearne likes her fashion edgy and unique. She prefers to mix and match trends to create her own style. One of her favourite, trusted items of footwear, other than her treasured Converse trainers, is the Chelsea Boot. She is often seen donning a pair of these and has both flat and heeled versions. She was recently spotted in a blue suede pair with a mid-height chunky heel. Chelsea boots are very easy to wear and look great with skinny jeans or skirts and dresses. You don’t have to wear a suede pair. If you want your boots to last a little longer, leather is a better bet. However, try and add some colour like Fearne with deep autumnal hues.
