Madonna Selected To Perform During Super Bowl Half-time Show

Super Bowl half-time shows are things of legend. Just ask Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake.

The Super Bowl on February 5, 2012 will feature another singing legend, who we hope doesn't have a "wardrobe malfunction."

Madonna has been selected as this season's Super Bowl half-time performer.

Beyond Madonna as posted on Us ...will be a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil, director Jamie King and "multimedia artists from Moment Factor," according to the statement.

This comes just in time for the release of Madonna's twelfth studio album due to drop in 2012.
