Will Ferrell (As Ron Burgundy) Announces There Will Be An 'Anchorman 2' on 'Conan'

It only took eight years, but anchorman Ron Burgundy will be back on the big screen reading the news in the only way he knows how.

Will Ferrell who stars as Ron Burgundy made the announcement on Wednesday in a unique way on Conan (video above.)

"To everyone here in the Americas. To our friends in Spain, Turkey and the UK including England," Ferrell-as-Burgundy addressed the crowd, "as of 0900 mountain time, Paramount Pictures and myself . . . have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman." He also regaled the Conan crowd with a flute solo.
