Carrie Underwood opens up in the June issue of Marie Claire in which she covers -- about growing up in Oklahoma and her married life.
"I'm not a mushy person at all. We were never a huggy family. Or a 'let's talk it out' family. Technically I have siblings, but they are quite a bit older than me. I was the accident, so I have the only-child syndrome going on. I'm a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean, I'm not a sociopath."
And married life with her NHL player husband Mike Fisher, she says she's not ready yet to start a family.
"I don't feel old enough to have kids," she says. "I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?"
So, did she ever think one day that she would become the famous person she is today - talking about her high school yearbook she tells the mag,
"You were supposed to say what you would be doing in 10 years, and I said, 'I will be rich, famous, and married to a hot guy. I guess I should have added a few more things!"
Sometimes dreams do come true!

Sunday Night Football will have a new open come the fall and the new face and voice will be that of Carrie Underwood.
Carrie will replace Faith Hill who was a Sunday night staple of the game opening credits.
She said about her new gig in a press release:
“For me, it just always seemed like something that would be fun to do, to watch Faith do it week after week, to see that hype for the game, it’s something that’s so cool.”
Faith sung the opens for a total of six-seasons.
