Christian Bale Visits Aurora, Colorado Shooting Victims

There's lots of negative news in Hollywood, but from time to time there can be a lot of good.

Here we want to recognise actor Christian Bale who made a special trip to Aurora, Colorado to visit the victims of The Dark Knight Rises shootings on Tuesday.

Beyond this, no one put him up to it nor did the studio have anything to do with the visit by Bale.

Warner Bros. released a statement saying,

"Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers.”

Above is a photo of Bale visiting Carey Rottman, one of the victims.

Christian, who stars as Batman posted this comment after the tragedy:

“Words cannot express the horror that I feel.”

Did You Know That At One Time Christian Bale Went Out With Drew Barrymore?!

Did you know that at one time Christian Bale went out with Drew Barrymore?

The Dark Knight actor revealed in an interview with GQ Australia:

“We went to see some bloody awful horror film, and that was the end of it, She never called again.”

Christian can look back and laugh now as he is happily married to wife Sibi Blazic since 2000 and they have one daughter.

Would they have made a good couple?

NEW MOVIE TRAILER: 'The Dark Knight Rises' Starring Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway

Here it is the trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. This is the final instalment of the Batman based saga starring Christian Bale.

The film also stars, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman.

The film hits theaters in July.

"Bane" to Take on Batman in 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Be afraid, be very afraid of "Bane" the newest evil villain in the next Batman flick titled The Dark Knight Rises. Bane played by Tom Hardy is starting to make it's promotional campaign across the internets social medias ie. Twitter. Follow and check out the new web site launched for more on the character of Bane and deets about the film.

As for the rest of the films characters - Christian Bale will play Batman, Gary Oldman back as Commissioner Gordon, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.

Anne Hathaway joins the cast as Catwoman, while Marion Cotillard will play Miranda Tate.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Play John Blake in 'The Dark Knight Rises'

We all knew that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be in the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, we just weren't sure what character he would play. Well now we do -- Joseph is set to play John Blake who Warner Bros. says is "a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon."

On another note it was confirmed that Marion Cotillard will play Miranda Tate, who is a 'Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham."

The other big stars include a return of Christian Bale as Batman. Added is Anne Hathaway, who is playing Selena Kyle/Catwoman.

AmoreMagazine.com's '83rd Annual Academy Awards' Roundup

So Hollywood's big night for the 83rd annual Academy Awards is over - All that is left are the memories.

So what did you think?

Here's our thoughts on the night and the break-down of the winners.

First, the hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco did a great job, added youth to the telecast - however, the opening monologue wasn't really funny.

As for the rest of the show, no real big upsets - just a ton of predictability. Natalie Portman won Best Actress for Black Swan. Colin Firth won Best Actor for The King's Speech, which also won the night's biggest prize for Best Picture.

Both supporting acting awards went to Christian Bale and Melissa Leo who starred in The Fighter.

Inception took four statuettes and True Grit was snubbed by the Academy.
