Emily VanCamp Talks Her Dislike For Paparazzi in 'Nylon' and More (PHOTO)

Emily VanCamp opens up in the September issue of NYLON that she's about down with all and any paparazzi.

She tells the magazine in which she covers,

“It should be illegal for people to stalk you with cameras,” the “Revenge” star says in the magazine’s September cover story. “It’s really invasive. How do you enjoy a moment? I see how people spiral out of control.”

She also talked about her success with her hit ABC show Revenge saying,

"They could’ve hired someone with a bigger name [for "Revenge"] and banked on that. They took a chance on me, and it’s brought on a whole new collection of opportunities.”

As for other projects that she chooses:

“I felt like I was stuck in a rut playing the same thing. I promised myself after leaving ["Brothers & Sisters"] that I would only do something that made me happy, that excited me, that was different. I wasn’t going to compromise my creative integrity just for money, or to stay relevant.”

'Revenge' Star Emily VanCamp Heats Up The Pages of 'GQ' (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

This year prime-time TV has been all about Revenge and even more the star of the hit ABC show, Emily VanCamp.

It's only fitting that the starlet pose for GQ and in an interview for the lad mag's November issue sheds some light on being considered a sex symbol in the show:

"I always feel like I'm playing a character when I'm in a beautiful dress, with my hair coiffed. I prefer getting down and dirty. There's nothing better than setting an a--hole's house on fire."

"I did ballet, which taught me how to be poised and graceful, but still, to this day I'd rather be fishing than going to some glamorous party."

And on fame and being in the public eye since the show became a hit she says:

"The thing is, I never know when paparazzi are taking pictures! They hide in weird places and make it look like you can see them but you can't. It's just so odd. I don't have any respect for them.

"Sometimes I just want to go for a walk in my sweats, you know?"

And on her real life relationship to on-screen boyfriend Josh Bowman:

"I don't really ever talk about that part of my life, but I'm also not going to stop living my life," she said. "I want to live happily. And if I love a person, I'm not going to be ashamed and hide it."

'Revenge' Star Emily VanCamp On Relationships in 'Flare,' "It's all about making me laugh."

Emily VanCamp, who plays Emily Thorne on ABC's Revenge is looking for her, "real life one."

What she isn't interested in is a long distance relationship after she and he ex-boyfriend Vampire Diaries star Joseph Morgan broke it off over the distance factor.

On the cover of Flare magazine the actress tells the magazine,

"I'm working non-stop in L.A., he's working in Atlanta. It kind of makes it impossible. It doesn't take away from the love that two people have, and I think he's extraordinary."

As for her show Revenge, where she juggles two suitors Jack and her fiance Daniel life isn't about art. What does she look for in a perfect boyfriend?

"It's all about making me laugh. I can be quite serious sometimes so laughing is key. I think it's important to be with a guy who has a strong sense of integrity. That's how I was raised, and that's something I look for. And humility. I think people who lack humility are really annoying."

Could you be that guy, her perfect boyfriend?!!
