As we all know, Crack McCrackerson Lohan somehow scored a job. She is gearing up to play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime biopic. But as we all expected, things are not going so smooth in pre-production in Canada.

RadarOnline is reporting Lindsay is extremely unhappy with the casting choices of the male actors who have auditioned for the role of Richard Burton. Filming is to begin in a few short weeks. Choices to play the role of Richard Burton have come down to Matthew Settle from Gossip Girl, Sean Maguire, and some guy from CSI, but after watching the audition tapes last weekend, “Lindsay declared that none of the actors were the right fit and that she wanted to go to London to look for a possible Burton actor there,” a production insider tells RadarOnline.com.

Apparently she wants a major A-list star to be her co-star. However, her salary for the role took up a major portion of the budget, and the Burton gig will likely only pay $200k, max.

Oh, Cracky, you need to sit down. Before you start getting all Golden Globe on us need I remind you that this is going to air on Lifetime? As in wedged between the Oxygen Network and the nearly defunct Oprah Channel? You are getting worked up about a movie that will premiere right after the 150th showing of Tori Spelling in the 1996 film “Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?” So let’s just peddle the brakes.

Plus, you really think Clooney is going to take time out from his busy Oscar award winning/Sudan relief schedule to play opposite you in a movie of the week? He wouldn’t even attend a Lifetime sponsored cocktail party, much less star in one of their films. And you think Gosling or James Franco are willing to get paid under 200K? You do understand that is way below their rate. I am also pretty sure that as much as they enjoy getting into character they would have a hard time delivering lines opposite someone who looks like they may or may not be coming down from a late night of Jack and Cokes and crystal meth.

So let’s just accept whatever choice the studio comes up with and power through. Because my guess is that your next career move might involve selling packs of Marlboro Lights at a a race track.
