John Mayer Went Out With Katy Perry the Night Before She Met Russell Brand!

Did you know at one time John Mayer tried to get his paws on Katy Perry, but before he could Russell Brand stepped in. E! News is revealing some pretty interesting details from the night before the 2009 VMA's (that was the awards show where Katy and Russell met)

Via E! News,

See, Perry and Mayer met the previous evening at Gold Bar in New York, after weeks of exchanging flirty tweets and texts.

"They'd never met in person, and she went to meet him there after she was at a Jay-Z concert at Madison Square Garden," a source close to Mayer tells E! News.

Mayer had joined Jay-Z at MSG for a performance and afterward asked fellow showgoer Perry to meet up later that night. "John thought she was so hot and fun and was into her," the insider recounts. "They were so flirty and all over each other that night at the bar, they really liked each other. Their personalities just clicked and they were flirting and dancing and it was on."

The British funnyman, who was hosting the awards, was instantly taken by Perry, openly admiring her from the stage. She was equally smitten.

Wow! That was super fast! If only Russell had been around Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, and every other girl John knew he might not have been able to date any of them.

Taylor Swift Tells 'Allure' She Has A Phobia of Being in the Wrong Relationship

Taylor Swift has had many loves in her life. Some she's even written songs about. Now what you might not know that the songstress is revealing is that she has a fear of being in the "wrong" relationship - something she has done a pretty good job of doing.

Via Allure December 2010 issue,

"It's a little strange that I'm typically single a lot,"

"I have a phobia about being in the wrong relationship," admits Swift. "So as soon as I establish it's not the right one, I don't want to waste their time."

As for including the wrong loves of her life in song?

"I can only write the material I know, which is what happens to me and luckily I've had a crazy two years. Not just careerwise, but emotionally, too."

Kim Kardashian & John Mayer An Item? Maybe!

If this isn't drama in waiting to happen then we don't know what would be.

John Mayer who has dated or rumored to have dated practically every girl in Hollywood now has his sites set on one particular reality star... Kim Kardashian.

According to Page Six this could become something of a reality.

Sources said Mayer recently was out one night with the sultry star, who's in town filming her new series. One source said, "They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off." Kim's made it clear she's on the hunt for a new man in New York.

If he thinks the media is up in his business now, dating the queen reality star might not be the best route for privacy. Just saying...

Taylor Swift Writes Song About John Mayer

It's common for musicians to write songs about love and girls or guys they might be fond of now or in the past... but it's NOT common for one big name musician to write a song about another big name musician. Enter Taylor Swift who has admitted to coining a song about John Mayer. Rumors had the duo a couple in 2009 and she writing a song about him on her new album might have confirmed those rumors.

The new song titled Dear John, off her forthcoming Speak Now album include the lyrics,

    "Dear John
    I see it all now that you're gone
    Don't you think I was too young
    To be messed with
    The girl in the dress
    Cried the whole way home
    I should've known.

    It was wrong
    Don't you think nineteen's too young
    To be played
    By your dark, twisted games

So what does this say? Will there be more? It was just recently Swift wrong a song about her Valentine's Day co-star Taylor Lautner titled, Back to December about her real life relationship with the Twilight hunk.

Jennifer Aniston & John Mayer "Hang Out" After Concert

Jennifer Aniston is back at it again with John Mayer dating/hanging out/just friends, whatever you, or they, want to call it. This just feeds his brain, which feeds his mouth, which spits out dumb comments about women in his life.

According to RadarOnline,

Jen who happened to be in Atlanta shooting her next film, Wanderlust showed up at John's concert on Wednesday night in nearby Lakewood, GA.

Jen was in work-out clothes and had a baseball cap pulled low over her face when she visited with John backstage after his performance, a source tells RadarOnline.com. "She looked gorgeous and seemed to be really enjoying herself. She and John laughed a lot."

Afterward, Jen and John and several people connected with his tour all went back to her hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, where he rented a private suite for an impromptu party.

The life of a rock star, just watch out Jen he ALWAYS kisses and tells.

Tweet "Hi baby" Means Kelly Bensimon is Dating John Mayer?! Come On!

Tweet once Okay, Tweet twice with a "Hi baby" and suddenly it's love. That seems to be the norm with HollywoodLife.com. They make up so many stories out of Tweets. Come on!

The latest example:

With a headline like this "Kelly Bensimon Is On The Prowl… For John Mayer!" one would think they have something going -but in all actuality, they don't. At least nothing confirmed not even a confession from one of them. So why assume a "Hi baby" means dating?!

So unless a Tweet says something to the effect of "I'm so happy we are dating." Don't make it up!

Jessica Simpson Continues To Answer John Mayer's Comments on 'The View'

Jessica Simpson continued her publicity tour for her new show, The Price of Beauty which premiered last night on VH1. On Monday Jess stopped by The View in which she continued to answer questions about John Mayer's comments in a Playboy interview in which he referred to her as "sexual napalm."

As People reports,

"I thought he was stupid for breaking up with me," Simpson, 29, said on ABC's The View on Monday morning.

She continued,

"And he'll never have this napalm again."

"I'll walk into a restaurant or something, and I notice that more men are looking at me, but I feel like they're undressing me," she says. "So, it's a little bit embarrassing."

She was then asked by the girls if she would date a regular "plumber" type Joe?

"Absolutely, bring it on! I always need a plumber!" she joked.

Something tells us Jess will have quite a few "volunteer plumbers" to fix her toilet.

John Tweeted: “Dear Kesha, you have won me over with your tricks and charms and I must tell you I really like your song. Though I must add I tried brushing with a bottle of Jack and I chipped a tooth on the glass. Where might I remit an invoice?”
