Kate Winslet covers the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar U.K. where she opened up about her meeting with Queen Elizabeth II.
"Oh my God, she [Queen Elizabeth] looks amazing. Beautiful skin - and wonderful thick hair. She looked really well and pretty and fresh, and she was wearing a lovely pale-yellow dress."
Kate also opens up about her recent marriage to Ned RocknRoll - this is her third marriage.
"I've really learnt a great deal about myself, in the last four years in particular,” Winslet told Harper’s Bazaar. “I think I can see more clearly now - about how the pattern of past experiences has shaped who I am, and the characters I have played - and I'm grateful for that."
“I have so much more material to draw on for work - rubble, bricks - and I know I can carry it now. I'm not going to drop it, and if I do, I'll sift through it.”

Kate Winslet has officially tied the knot with her beau Ned Rocknroll.
According to People via the actresses rep:
"I can confirm that Kate Winslet married Ned Rock'nRoll in NY earlier this month in a private ceremony attended by her two children and a very few friends and family. The couple had been engaged since the summer."
The couple started dating in the fall of 2011. This will be Winslet's third marriage. Rocknroll is the nephew of British billionaire Richard Branson.

Is Kate Winslet really a B****?!
According to RadarOnline Kate snubbed a bunch of fans in a small town in Massachusetts while she was filming her new movie, Labor Day.
The list of quotes from upset fans went on and on.
Here are a few of them:
"Kate was so rude, she never once acknowledged any of us, I was devastated," hopeful fan Shanna Swan told Star. "She gave dirty looks to people in my town who waited hours to see her."
“She always plays such warm people on the big screen, I thought she would be kind, so when she was mean, I was crushed,” Shanna said. “I watched The Titantic 13 times when I was 12 years old, and Kate wouldn’t even look up for a second to acknowledge we were all adoring her.”
"Everyone in town was really hurt, and I could hear people calling her name. After she took off, one lady right next to me specifically said, ‘Wow. How rude was that?’"
Now everyone in the small town is talking about Kate's behavior, "She was just plain nasty. Kate was only on set for a short time and jumped back in her Cadillac and took off, without even a wave or thank you or a smile for us."
"This was the first celebrity i've seen in my lifetime, and sadly the experience was hurtful to me and my entire town. Kate Winslet really left a bitter taste in our mouths."
Boy, the last time there were these many pissed of fans of a celeb was during Charlie Sheen's tour.

Kate Winslet escaped what was very tragic fire at Richard Branson's home on Necker Island on Monday. The 35 year-old actress her boyfriend and two children escaped unharmed as flames erupted though-out the home.

Branson, who was staying at another property 100 yards away with his wife, Joan, and their son, Sam, 25, attributed the fire to a lightning storm. He said the house was "completely destroyed" and the fire was not completely out on Monday.
We're glad everyone was safe.

Evan Rachel Wood has had some pretty demanding roles, but her latest in the upcoming HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce might be the most uncomfortable to date.
Evan plays Mildred's daughter Veda in which she'll have a full frontal nudity scene. For the first time she talked about shooting the scene that made her feel uncomfortable until she received some advice from fellow actress Kate Winslet who plays Mildred.

“I was a lot more nervous than I thought I was going to be."
“I hadn’t made my mind up if I was going to go full until we were rehearsing, and I was talking to Todd [Haynes, the series' writer and director] – like ‘What do you think?’ – and he was like, ‘I think we’re going to be chickening out if we don’t just go for it.’”
At a New York press event for the miniseries, a retelling of the classic James M. Cain novel, Wood told us she credits Winslet, who famously bared all in “The Reader,” for giving her the courage to strip. “I looked at Kate and she was like, ‘You’ve got to do it. Trust me, it’s so brave. Put a merkin on and you’ll be fine.’” A merkin? “Let’s just say, I had to wear a wig because it was in the 30s, and everything had to look like it was in the 30s,” explained Wood with a laugh.
Sounds like good advice to us..
Mildred Pierce premieres Sunday, March 27 on HBO at 9PM.
