Could Michelle Williams play a better Marilyn Monroe than Marilyn herself? Not only did she perfectly land the role of Marilyn on the big screen, but Michelle is showing us her perfect Marilyn body in the pages of the February issue of GQ.

The actress who won a Golden Globe on Sunday night for her role told the men's magazine,

"I wouldn't say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being -- being sexy," Williams says. "And I think because my character on Dawson's Creek was sexy...sexualized...sexual...I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly."

"When you play sexy you're kind of playing just for men. That is something you have to police and turn it on its head," she adds. "I mean, sexuality has been a part of my work, obviously...Blue Valentine...but it's never been sexy. It hasn't been beautiful."

As for her real-life after the loss of her ex Heath Ledger-

"I really wanted, and I really expected or imagined, that Matilda would have siblings that were close to her age. I wanted that for her. But I couldn't make that happen."

Williams explains. "And now that she's 6 that isn't even a possibility anymore. So something that was making me feel impatient, that's been removed. For whatever reason, that's not our luck, or our path."

"You know, as hard as certain things have been for me, it's been harder thinking about how things will be for her. I have a lot of things that she doesn't, and some of what I have I can give to her -- the memories that I have, the objects that I have, the physical reminders that I have, the stories."

Talent and high class not only play well on-screen but off-screen as well.

Should Michelle Williams quit acting?

She's had the thoughts of such, and explains her reasons in the latest issue of Hobo magazine.

"I often dream of quitting acting. Walking away and becoming a laundress or a sous chef or maybe writing other people's love letters for a living, clearly, I don't like to be in charge. And thinking of quitting is just keeping going in disguise. When you have options, anything is bearable. It's when a situation is inescapable that it becomes hell. It seems to me that as soon as you get good at something, it is a sure sign that it is about to walk out of your life because it ceases to hold your mind and creative energy hostage."

Wow, that's serious talk!

The actress is a two-time Oscar nominee for the films, Brokeback Mountain and Blue Valentine.
