Nina Dobrev is going topless, but not for what you might expect like PETA or something. She's going topless in the name of Obamacare.

The Vampire Diaries actress is seen in this photo (above) posted on Instagram where she's holding a sign over her lady parts that says #GetCovered

She wrote:

“Im Canadian. We have healthcare for all. If you dont have insurance go to [HealthCare.gov] and#GetCovered ,Because w/o it, youre naked.”

So far it seems to be a hit online and we wonder why...

NEW COUPLE ALERT: 'Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev is Dating 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Dancer Derek Hough!

It looks as though Hollywood has a new couple to watch -- the Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev is rumored to be dating Dancing With the Stars pro dancer, Derek Hough.

According to a report on Us Weekly:

"[Nina] was hanging a lot with Derek's sister Julianne," a source tells Us. "Then she fell for him."

Nina told the mag previously:

"I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point, so I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again," she told Us during Cosmopolitan's Summer Bash on Saturday, Aug. 10. "I'm just discovering different sides of me and growing and then I'll figure out what I like in a man when I see it."

As for Derek, well this isn't his first celeb girlfriend, the others include Cheryl Cole, Shannon Elizabeth, and Lauren Conrad.

Nina Dobrev Talks Dating and Style in Cosmopolitan's September Issue (PHOTO)

Nina Dobrev has strict requirements with the men that she dates -- to be with her you will have to be smart, funny and not too vain. Seems easy, right?

Well maybe so, as the Vampire Diaries star opens up in the September issue of Cosmopolitan magazine in which she covers.

"You either have chemistry or you don't, but a lot of what attracts me is a guy's mind and humor and talent. I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I'm not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I'm a relationship girl."

As for how he needs to dress to impress her?

"A man in a suit looking put together and dapper is very attractive, but I also kind of like the I-just-rolled-out-of-bed, a-little-bit-of-scruff, effortless, not-trying-hard-but-still-sexy guy," she says. "If a guy spends more time looking in the mirror than I do, that's a problem!"

As for what she wants?

"People aren't defined by their relationships," Dobrev tells Cosmo. "The whole point is being true to yourself and not losing yourself in relationships, whether romances or friendships."

Vampire Diaries' Costars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Split!

The romance is over for Vampire Diaries' costars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev who have split as a couple.

The had dated for several years, but were last seen together about a month ago on a late-night trip to the cat hospital.

For the longest time they tried to keep their relationship a secret.

In fall of 2012 Nina told Seventeen magazine,

"My goal on the show was to be professional. But sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long – which I did for a really, really long time."

Now she'll be free to hang out with another broken hearted friend of the past few months, her gal-pal Julianne Hough who recently split from Ryan Seacrest.
