Rachel Bilson talks to British Cosmopolitan about her life's ups and down in the August issue in which she covers.

As for her take on the new film, The Bling Ring:

“I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people. It’s important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget.”

And on her first big TV role in The OC, which made her who she is today as an actress:

“I didn’t have any idea how much The O.C. would change my life. I thought I knew everything, but now I look back and think, ‘You were a dumb a**! What was your problem?’”

Rachel Bilson opens up about her relationship with Hayden Christensen in the pages of the May issue of Cosmopolitan in which she covers.

She says of her on again, off again boyfriend of six-years:

"I'm a really good girlfriend -- I always put all that first in my life. I'm definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to," Bilson tells the magazine. "I love to cook, so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies."

The Heart of Dixie actress would love for nothing more then to settle down.

"I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future -- I hope."

As for how she keeps it exciting sexually with him:

"Guys are so visual," she explains. "I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt."
