Reese Witherspoon has lost her mind. That, according to a recent interview with the British magazine Red. She says that she has her son to thank for that.
The interview was conducted just before the actress was arrested for disorderly conduct.
"Ever since I had the baby, I can't remember anything. Serious, this child stole my brain. I'm losing friendships over forgetting to get back to people," she continues. "But you can't keep up with everything. I've got a 13-year-old [Ava Phillippe], a nine-year-old [Deacon Phillippe] and a baby."
Kids keep her busy she says it's,
"like CNN ticker tape running through my mind at all times . . .'Where is Ava? She's okay. Good. Where is Deacon? He's okay. Good. Where is Tennessee? Is he okay? Yes. Great. Back to Ava…' It doesn't stop."
Her fans are very grateful to her she says,
"People definitely hug me a lot, and hand me their babies. But it's better than people throwing stuff at me, right?" she jokes. "I'm always met with smiles."
It's her close friends that get her through her hectic lifestyle of being a mom - talking about Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.
"They're just as charismatic and fun as you would imagine. It's nice to hang with Drew because we both just had babies and we can support each other. And Cameron is such a funny, bright gal. She's an incredibly sharp business-minded woman, but she disguises that side of herself. It's her secret alter ego."
We're sure they were there for her last weekend after her arrest... possibly when she needed them the most.

In college I was a host at a Capitol Hill restaurant that served margaritas and upscale enchiladas. A political staffer demanding a table for their boss was a pretty regular occurrence. “Yes, um, Senator Gramm is going to need a table at 12:00 for 4 people.” After I would explain that there was a current 40-minute wait they would grow irritated. “I don’t think you understand. The Senator will need a table at 12.” Well maybe you should explain to Señor Gramm that he can’t have a god damn taco or indulge in a delicious cup of queso until 12:40 when all the other a-holes who also get paid $0.50 an hour to staple papers and got here before you get seated. Ya got that, man? As if throwing around the name of some politician from a state I didn’t even live in would impress me. Wait a minute. Hold the f-ing phone, man. Did you just hear that Rosa? This guy just told me the SENATOR from Texas is going to be here at 12. Can we get some balloons or streamers ready? Holy shit-balls. Do we have a mariachi band we can throw together? For Christ’s sake — did anyone call CNN? The Senator from the state bordering Arkansas is going to be here in 10 minutes and wants a quesadilla.
I mean… really?
Throwing down your name to get a table is like throwing down your name to get into a nightclub. Also similar to throwing down your name to get ahead at the Apple store. But for Reese Witherspoon it apparently means trying to weasel your very drunk husband out of a drunk driving arrest.
You see — Reese and her husband were arrested in Atlanta early Friday morning. ”Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer,” according to the police report. “I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet.” Witherspoon, 37, allegedly did not follow his order, getting out of the Ford Fusion instead. When the trooper warned her again, Witherspoon allegedly told him she was a U.S. citizen and allowed to “stand on American ground.” Her American pride got her handcuffed. ”I put my hands on Mrs. Witherspoon’s arms to arrest her,” the officer wrote. “Mrs. Witherspoon was resistant but I was able to put handcuffs on her without incident due to Mr. Toth (her husband) calming her.” ”Do you know my name?” he said Witherspoon asked. “I answered, ‘No, I don’t need to know your name.’” ”You’re about to find out who I am,” she replied, the arrest report said. “You are going to be on national news.”
Her husband told officers he only had one drink, but when given a Breathalyzer test, his blood alcohol level was .139.
The couple was bailed out of jail Saturday morning. A court date is set for Monday morning.
So, yeah, maybe we should have just let them drive off the road into a ditch, a phone pole, or God forbid someone else’s car because she was in that fun movie Legally Blonde. And those officers were real d-bags for giving the husband of that girl who played Johnny Cash’s wife a hard time for drinking well above the legal drinking limit. Shame on law enforcement for trying to prevent an accident or death by pulling over that gal who was a real riot in Sweet Home Alabama.
Because Reese Witherspoon is a national treasure. She can drink and drive and most certainly get first dibs on guacamole and tortilla chips.

Reese Witherspoon and her husband, Jim Toth were taken into custody early Friday morning in Atlanta for a DUI charge.
According to People, Jim was driving in the wrong lane. Reese was arrested for disorderly conduct. According to Variety, she was handcuffed after disobeying instruction from the arresting officer to stay inside the vehicle. They posted bond at 3:30am Friday.
Since the arrest Reese did issue this statement:
"Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said."
She continued:
"It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. Thewords I used that night definitely do not reflect who I am. I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior."
Don't expect her to go all Lindsay now -- we think this might just be a one time thing

The list is based on the salaries for the actors' last three films with box office grosses.
For every $1 that Murphy made, his films only averaged $2.30.
In second was Katherine Heigl, and third on the list was Reese Witherspoon.
