Robert Downey Jr., doesn't have it all figured out. At least when it comes to certain fans. While on location shooting a new film in western Massachusetts, Iron Man happened upon a 1 and a half year old fan who was upset, because "Iron Man" wasn't in costume.. Boo!
The boy's mother Heather Denno told People of the incident:
"He was fine as soon as he talked to him, was so confused because I kept telling him it was Iron Man and he knew it wasn't. Well, not Iron Man in the suit."
Hey we're sure mom loved seeing Robert though...

Robert Downey, Jr. is very high on himself. So much so, that in an interview with GQ magazine in which he covers the May issue, he says that he is “one of the best actors” of his generation. Not only that but he will win an Oscar.
He follows up those statements with this.
“It’s not like this is the greatest swath or generation of actors that has ever come down the pike.”
Ouch!
And on winning that Oscar?
“That’s just a fact. I, personally, would be shocked if we went to the end of the tape now and I didn’t have at least one… Because it just doesn’t make sense.”
"Even if I don’t get one directly, eventually they’re just going to have to give me one when I get old. So no matter how you slice it, I’m getting one.”
Alright... sure... now you can go back to being the voice of Mr. Peanut in the Planters commercials. Did we just say that? We think we did.

Robert Downey Jr. wants you to forgive Mel Gibson and all his craziness.
On Friday night while accepting an honor at the American Cinematheque Awards in Beverly Hills, Downey used his acceptance speech to promote the forgiveness of Gibson.
Downey told the crowd,
"Unless you are without sin -- and if you are, you are in the wrong f**king industry -- you should forgive him and let him work."
"He taught me many things, and I will use the 'C' word -- courage,"
"There's nothing so much wrong with him. Of course you have to worry about the guy making the judgment here. He's a good dude with a good heart."
Good heart maybe, but after all this the entertainment industry is customer driven and if you piss off enough people, people won't go see your movies.
