Russell Brand still admits that even though his marriage to Katy Perry didn't work out he still loves her very much!

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday Brand said:

"I still love her as a human being, but sometimes when you're in a relationship I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything."

"I was very happy to be married with her," Brand continued. "She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

The couple were married for 14 months.

Perry has been seen out with Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

Russell Brand really wants to push the divorce through faster with his soon-to-be ex wife Katy Perry by surrendering his interest in the $6.5 million dollar mansion they bought together.

His new gal-pal, Nikolett Barabas is opening up about her new found love with Russell telling Life & Style magazine,

"He's amazing, so funny; he's beautiful. I like being with him; he's amazing, so amazing. He's a good person."

As for his flirting with other women? An eyewitness at a show he was performing at told the mag,

"He was really flirty, but even in the sea of women, Nikolett just hung back and let him do his thing. He even kissed one pretty brunette quickly on the lips and told her she was gorgeous!"

Shall we see how long this one lasts?

Russell and Katy filed for divorce on December 30.
