Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt might be back together but that still doesn't help their combined income which is nothing really. According to RadarOnline the duo are broke and are living in one of Spencer's mother's beach houses.

RadarOnline.com revealed how the couple made a mess of their $5 million Malibu rental home after they planted trees without permission and allowed their dogs to pee on the carpets, infuriating the property's owner.

But according to a source close to the couple, the real reason that they left the house was because they could no longer afford the $20,000-a-month rent.

"The truth is that they are cash-strapped right now and their only real form of income these days is from set-up paparazzi photographs," the insider said.

"But the U.S. magazines are not really that interested in them anymore and they are becoming increasingly difficult to deal with.

"A lot of the editors know that the recent split story was a complete sham and they realize that there readers can see through it all now too.

Is Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt back together again? It seems so. While Spencer who was arrested on Saturday in Costa Rica on arms possession -- Heidi "stood by his side."

Pratt said Monday that Montag stood by him during what he called the "wildest day ever of either of our lives." He says that sparked hope that she might drop her divorce filing. He and Montag were back in Los Angeles after Saturday's incident.

Could it be that she "stood by his side" because she was stuck in Costa Rica... she had no where else to go.

Sources say it was then that Spencer decided he could make a fortune selling his "library" to Vivid Entertainment -- much of it featuring naked, fornicating Speidi.

If Spencer sells it Karissa told TMZ she will sue. That's shocking.

Spencer has to say something to stay relevant -- now he's taking the whole "I have a sex tape avenue." It's been longer than Lindsay Lohan since he last worked.

Was Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt ever really married?! If you believe that The Hills was scripted then you will believe Spencer in this case. Just as Heidi filed for divorce, Spencer is claiming the marriage was "fake."

Everything is coming full circle for Spencer Pratt. The one time Hills mouthiest cast mate is having his bad karma come back and bite him. His wife Heidi Montag separated from him a few months back and now he claims he's homeless.

The reality star took to Twitter early Monday to reveal his dire straits. "Booking my room at Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood now that I have no place to live I think I should just move in there today stay near the action, " he Tweeted.

Homeless he is not. Something tells us he might get better treatment now from room service at the Roosevelt than from the self service of fame his wife, Heidi dished up for years.

There's a lot of heart break in Hollywood and as messed up as the marriage was between Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, we thought it could never fail. However it did. So what could have possibly caused Speidi to go the way of Spe and idi? The rumor of each other accusing each other of having an affair. What's more, Heidi hired a P.I. to spy on Spencer.
