Every mother wants their daughter to grow up to be a fashionable lady. It's important early in life she has such good role models to influence her. The City star Whitney Port wants to be one of those role models. Port plans to write a book titled True Whit, due to be release in 2011. Unlike her former co-star on The Hills Lauren Conrad who wrote two novels this is a non-fiction guide to be a twenty-something female.

In what her publisher describes as a "conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style, " the Whitney Eve designer plans to write personal stories, and advice for young women.
"Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase," says Port, 25. "There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life."
Port also has her own fashion label, Whitney Eve, which she launched in 2009.
