We all know that Diddy has a thing for fashion but his latest album might be a project of what you could call "fashion overload!" The rapper has teamed with legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour for his new album, Last Train to Paris.
And that's just the beginning for the fashion connection as Isaac Mizrahi, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger have also lent their voices to the album.
Via CNN,
"During Fashion Week last year, he sent out the call via e-mail and voice mail to high-fashion friends to come to his studio to participate in the record," Talley says of Diddy, whose CD was inspired by the music superstar's February 2010 fashion spread with supermodel Natalia Vodianova.
"This album is simply part of his evolution," says Talley, who recited words by author James Baldwin and describes the record – which peppers the voices of Wintour and crew between songs - as "totally twenty-first-century Diddy cool."
If this is to be a hit, then Diddy certainly has the right mix of moguls behind it.
Last Train to Paris drops December 14th.
