Emma Roberts grew up surrounded by fame, so anything other than acting was unheard of for her career choice. She tells the April issue of Elle about growing up on the studio lot with her dad, Eric, also an actor.
"I was always running around to the makeup trailer and the wardrobe trailer, trying on clothes, and letting people do my hair…I loved it."
At 20 she can still appear as a young actress in films,
"I can still play a high school student if I want, or I can play older. I don’t have to limit myself right now, so why would I?"
As for who she looks up to besides her Aunt Julia Roberts,
"Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson have made names for themselves regardless of the fact that their parents were famous…I’d like to have a career like that too."
Emma stars in Scream 4 which hits theaters April 15th.
