I read a story today about LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian getting married over the weekend. The two, as you probably can recall, carried on an affair during the filming of their Lifetime movie, denied the relationship for weeks, and then finally came clean. Eddie was married at the time and is the father of two young boys. His ex-wife has been pretty vocal about the misery she has endured having to build her life back together. To make things worse there are constant reports Eddie is trying to whittle down LeAnn into a miniature version of his ex-wife. As if his former wife doesn't have enough stress.
Here's the thing. If you are married to an actor and they tell you they got a role in a movie-of-the-week and it will be filming in Wyoming, Arkansas, or Alaska you better get your marriage therapist on speed dial. The outlook is not looking so good. (Google Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott to further investigate my point).
Anyhoo, LeAnn and Eddie got hitched this Friday in an "intimate ceremony before friends and family" in Malibu. Sounds sweet, right? Well according to inside sources (which means his ex-wife or her hairdresser) things are starting to get a little single white female. There were more than a few similarities to Eddie's wedding with first wife Brandi Glanville in 2001.
1. They both wore Reem Acra gowns.
Okay, a little weird. But I would hope the dress patterns have changed in the past ten years.
2. Both weddings were beachside in the spring.
Fine. Maybe the guy likes sand, the smell of honeysuckles and the excitement of Easter. Can you blame him?
3. They both drive white Range Rovers.
Wait. I thought country singers drive pick-up trucks or tractors? She couldn't buy anything else?
4. Late last year, Rimes turned to the same plastic surgeon Glanville used -- and even got the same cup size.
Okay, this is starting to sound creepy.
If you have to leave your husband, lose weight, get hair extensions, consult a plastic surgeon, and hand over your credit card to your rarely employed actor-lover you are probably starting off things on a low note. Wouldn't you say? Let's all hope she signed a pre-nup.
