Maybe you've been following this story, if you haven't here is the break down.
Mark Wahlberg in an interview with Men's Journal claims that he changed flights out of Boston a few days early and was not on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center on 9/11. Had he been on one of those flights he said it would have gone down different,
"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did," he tells the magazine. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'"
This comment comes as he is promoting his latest film, Contraband where he performs all his own stunts.
Shortly after this interview hit the newsstands victim's families of 9/11 spoke out against the comment in which Wahlberg released this apology,
"To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with, and to suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."
Do you think he was right in his comments? Or was it just passion and emotion that got the best of him?
