Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting a divorce.
The couple have been married 5 years, and let's face it, in Hollywood, that's an eternity.
As posted on TMZ, Katie's attorney, Jonathan Wolfe released a statement saying,
"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family."
"Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."
A prenup is in place and according to TMZ the couple are worth about $275 million.
No word yet on the exact reason for the split as they have not been seen together since February.
They have one daughter together, Suri, who's 6 years-old.
