In an interview with Complex (February/March) Elisha Cuthbert for the first time addresses her personal love life and having relationships with pro hockey players.
Typically, relationships between athletes and actresses get a lot of attention. You’ve dated a couple of NHL players [currently Dion Phaneuf, previously Sean Avery], but you don’t get nearly the same attention as Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush. Is that because hockey isn’t huge in the U.S., or is it because you lie low?
Elisha Cuthbert: I think it’s just because my personal life is my personal life—I stay private about it. There are always people who are going to wonder and be very excited and want to know about what’s going on in your private life; it’s up to you to keep those boundaries.
That is unless your hockey player ex-boyfriend shines light on your previous relationship by calling you a "sloppy second" to the press as in the case of Sean Avery just a few months ago.
Judging by the look and way Cuthbert carries herself we can only say that Sean Avery must have taken a few too many pucks to the head.
