Marvel's X-Men: First Class opening weekend was enough to take out The Hangover II as the top movie at the weekend box office.
In it's opening weekend X-Men took in $56 million, while The Hangover II earned $32.4 million. X-Men stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and January Jones in a film based on the famous Marvel Comics character.
Third went to Kung Fu Panda 2 which took in just $24.3 million where the flick finally surpassed the $100 million total mark.
As for the rest of the top 5, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was forth with $18 million, and Bridesmaids finished in fifth with $12.1 million.
