Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has entered rehab. Shocking? No, but we all thought it would be Snooki that would be the first from the Jersey Shore. We guess being preggers will set you back in the rehab department.
According to TMZ,
A rep for the Situation just contacted TMZ to say they are not confirming that Mike is in rehab ... just that he "has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."
Really?! A.K.A. REHAB!!! The guy is in rehab! Just say it!
MTV is set to start shooting the 6th season of Jersey Shore this summer; with pregnant Snooki sans the booze. What a hoot that'll be!

You have to love GQ, the sophisticated men's magazine that has fashion and intriguing interviews... yet, somehow Snooki snuck into the mag for an interview. (We are canceling our subscription right now!!)
She did however have some amusing stuff to say, like criticizing MTV for the way they edit the Jersey Shore saying-
"I wouldn't show as much drinking and partying," she tells the magazine. "I would show more of us chilling out and having a good time -- which they don't show. We don't even drink those nights, but we laugh all night. They don't show anything but us drinking and hooking up."
"I don't know. Maybe because of the success of the show they think that if they don't show us drinking and hooking up then it wouldn't stay successful, but I think that if they showed the sober side of us people would like it even more and it'd even change people's minds about us," she says.
She then in true Jersey Shore fashion, tells it like it is, and it, is that Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is broke,
"'Jersey Shore' is going to end soon. I'm not going to spend money like Mike [The Situation]. He's already broke!" she claims.
Umm, don't think he'll be happy she just said that!!

That's how many felt at an Apple Store recently when they saw Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino cut in line to score his new iPhone 4S before anyone else.

Well this makes perfect sense because nothing says being a douche-bag like wearing Abercrombie & Fitch... well, wait nothing says being a douche-bag like Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and apparently A&F doesn't want their clothes on "The Sitch", so much so, they released an official statement asking the Jersey Shore star to refrain from wearing their clothes. Beyond the plea, the company is willing to cough up some cash to get him to stop.
From the statement released by A&F,
“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image. We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”
Ouch! Is the company totally overreacting or do they have a legit point??
